People and why they are so and how this relates to Obama

I cringe when I see people disrespect each other. I cringe at conflict. The reason for my cringing stems from the fact that conflict is nothing less than two people, or parties, holding different viewpoints that exist in their own minds based on their life experiences. Therefore, when there is conflict, both parties are completely right and completely wrong at the same time. Its all a matter of perspective. So, I cringe. Maybe I cringe because when there is conflict, friends and associates of the parties in conflict are expected to step in and defend their own. I can't do this. It doesn't matter who, because I know that they are wrong, and right at the same time.

Just keep writing. Keep writing. Keep writing.

Obama is going to be the president tomorrow. I am at once extremely optimistic and restrained for his arrival. I hope he isn't too good to be true. Because he is good. Too good. If he can do what I think he can do, then this world is truly going to become a better place. And sooner than we think. Barack Obama has managed to change people's minds. He is literally changing the way people view the world and the way they view the future. By doing that, he is changing the future. What we, as the human race become is one hundred percent dependent on what we as the human race THINK we will become. Its a collective mindset that will either destroy us or bring us to a higher place in life. In a world full of optimism and collectivism, the sky is the limit. Before Obama, I could have never imagined such a person could exist, a person with the power to influence such a massive group of people in every corner of the world. He is still only scratching at the surface of what is necessary and POSSIBLE for us to achieve, but the fact that he has managed to scratch that surface at all is an incredibly powerful achievement.

a drifter

I think I was just meant to be a drifter in life. I can't really fit in anywhere. I'm just bored. Situations bore me. It's all the same everywhere. People are all the same. I'm sick of playing the fucking game. Same game. Lame game. Repetition. Fakeness. Everyone is so fucking fake. So selfishly fake. So fake. So unrevealing.

I HATE IT

Relationships: Viewed from the outside

While we share the same house, my 2 roommates are each living in the world of endless compromise, the world of lost personality, the world of fake smiles, and careless listening. The world of relationships. I've visited this world on several occasions, but for the first time, I get to see this world from a distance. I am a satellite orbiting this world. Watching as the strange aliens go about their routine.

Sometimes I sense feelings of pity from my roommates. Pity for me. Me, alone. No girlfriend to hold at night. No girlfriend to gossip about my roommates to. But at other times, I sense feelings of envy from my roommates. Envy for me. Me, free. No girlfriend to cater to. No girlfriend to compromise with.

I feel neither pity nor pride at my situation. I just enjoy observing. And yes I enjoy my moments of freedom via solitude. But, I am human. I do get lonely at times. I would like someone special to share my life with. A soul mate. Only a soul mate will do at this point. I'm not going to waste my time with anything less. Sexual relationships are a waste of time. The sex is empty. But sex is great.

I am not looking for anyone. Not now. I must get my own life assembled before I assemble my life in accordance with someone else.

What will I eat tonight? The Thai restaurant I hold so close to my heart and stomach is closed. Ah, thai restaurant. Why must you close on Sunday's? I really shouldn't eat out anyway. I'm broke. But I'm hungry. and frozen pot stickers cooked by me just don't appeal to me. Who are these visitors in my house? Who are they?

A Farewell to arms
For whom the bell tolls,
but remember,
The sun also rises
For The old man and the sea!

Ciao

Opening Performance

Welcome to my creation.

Welcome to the World.

As I see it.

This is an attempt to get me, aspiring writer, to write. This is an attempt to get you, searcher of interesting writings, to read. This is an attempt. Writing for an unknown public. A public that does not exist and will continue to not exist for sometime. I bet you are the first person to read this. You. Whoever you are. Thanks for reading.

The purpose of this blog is purposelessness. There is too much purpose in the world. Everyone has a purpose. A goal. An aim. An idea. A belief. A vision. I would like to counter those people with pure senselessness. I will just write stream of consciousness. I will log in and write. No plans. Just write. No plans.

The reason I believe in my ability to write intriguing material is because my mind is constantly spewing out intriguing ideas. Ideas that I share with people that these people react positively to. I have no control over this mind of mine. I can't tame this beast, so I may as well use the beast to my advantage. Take the beast to a circus. Let the public view the beast. Make a living of this wild un-tameable beast. well, the circus is free, for now. FOR NOW. One day, my books of randomness will litter the aisles of every bookstore from Winnemucca, Nevada, to Reykjavik, Iceland.

Places I want to visit most (as of 10/5/07 at 8:00pm PST):

Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Lebanon, Iceland, Iran, India, Bhutan, Thailand, Peru, Tahiti, New Zealand.

Places I want to return to because I love them:

Amsterdam, Paris, Central Africa, Morocco, New York City, B.V.I., the Sushi bar down the street from my house.

Thats all for this moment. I'm bored. Tired. Hungry. PEACE.
